As a self-pollinating (parthenocarpic) variety, it is equally successful in greenhouse environments and open-field cultivation, provided that trellises or similar vertical supports are used. The plant follows a generative growth pattern, focusing its energy on fruit production rather than excessive side-shoot development. The resulting cucumbers are a striking, deep dark green, measuring 10–11 cm in length with a uniform, heavily tuberculated surface.
