Condition
Used (partially refurbished / reassembled) — see photos.
Based on the pictures, this set appears to be partially refurbished: the box looks re-housed/cleaned and at least some contents appear neatly reassembled and stored in sheet protectors, with a blue-cover copy/reproduction-style booklet/paperwork present alongside the color-cover book. Expect vintage wear plus “collector-maintained” handling. Sold exactly as shown.
Description
Step into Tékumel—M.A.R. Barker’s gloriously deep, weird, and wonderful setting (where your campaign can include political intrigue, ancient tech, and a casual chat with a demon… all before lunch).
This is a Gamescience boxed set for Swords & Glory, Volume 1 (Tekumel), featuring The World of the Petal Throne material and assorted reference sheets/pages.
What you’ll receive (as pictured)
Gamescience box (lid & bottom shown)
Swords & Glory / Tekumel source material including:
A color-cover “Tekumel Source Book: The World of the Petal Throne” item shown
A blue-cover version (appears like a copy/reproduction-style print)
Loose reference sheets / tables / charts / handouts shown in the photos
Additional pages stored in plastic sleeves as pictured
(If you need a precise page-by-page inventory, use the photos as the official inventory—this listing is for everything pictured.)
Condition notes (important)
Box shows wear/age consistent with vintage RPG sets (edge wear, scuffs, discoloration)
Paper shows age toning, and contents have been partly protected/reorganized
Partial refurbishment observed: some components look re-housed and/or replaced with copy-style print material (notably the blue-cover item), likely done to keep the set usable at the table
No guarantees of completeness beyond what is shown
Collector-friendly, table-ready, and still dripping with old-school charm.
