Vintage Canon UC16E 8mm Video Camcorder – Made in Japan

This is a vintage Canon UC16E 8mm video camcorder from the late 1980s / early 1990s.

The camera, tape, and battery are UNTESTED due to the absence of a charger and the age of the battery.

Included in this lot:

• Canon UC16E 8mm video camcorder (Made in Japan)

• Original Canon BP-E77KE Ni-Cd battery (condition unknown)

• Fujifilm P5-60 Extraslim 8mm video tape (untested)

• Original Minolta branded camera bag

Important notes:

⚠️ Camera is UNTESTED – no power test performed

⚠️ Battery is old Ni-Cd and likely not functional

⚠️ Rubber cover for AV ports is missing (see photos)

⚠️ Video tape is UNTESTED

The camera shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with age (light scratches, signs of use).

Lens appears clear with no visible fungus or cracks.

All buttons, switches, and mechanical parts appear intact.
