Ranma ½ (Ranma One-Half) is a classic romantic comedy martial arts series by Rumiko Takahashi, originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday (1987–1996) and adapted into a TV anime by Studio Deen and a new remake by MAPPA. It follows Ranma Saotome, a martial artist cursed to turn into a girl with cold water and back into a boy with hot water, and his chaotic engaged life with Akane Tendo and many eccentric rivals.
