Teaming up with his brother Phil, Peter Brock ran a new L34 Torana at Bathurst in 1976. Sponsored by Bill Patterson, a prominent Victorian Holden dealer, "Team Brock" as it was known took on the task of defending his win in 1975, finishing third.
