19th c. Dark Green Jade & Bronze Small Bird Sculpture of Fine Quality, possibly Russian. Measures 3" tall overall. Bird is small, and extremely detailed as shown in many pics. Shown with & w/out a flash to illustrate detail. Jade block is dark translucent spinach green that transmits light along edges w/a flashlight. Bird shows wonderful, old patina, and may have originally been gilt. No visible signature, but looks like Austrian/Vienna Bronze quality. Just look at the details in those tiny little feet/talons. Condition is excellent & original with no damage to the jade or bronze.
