Vintage 50s 60s burgundy red tweed wool set including a dress and matching jacket.

The dress is short sleeved with round neckline and three rhinestone buttons down the front bodice.  There is a curved tab around the neckline and a metal zipper closes the back.

The matching jacket is has a two fabric covered button closure and sports a black fur collar which I believe is sheared beaver.  There are two curved tabs on either side of the front and the jacket is lined in an irridescent red or pink fabric.  Two labels are sewn inside; one a former local department store and the other reads, "This is a Myron Herbert Costume Suit."

CONDITION - JACKET - GOOD.......DRESS - FAIR - The sleeves have discoloration or thinning of the fabric at the underarm and one sleeve is torn and has visible repairs.  Of course, these flaws are not seen when wearing the jacket.  Also, a seam under the other arm needs a few stitches (see photos)
