Short history of model: The Morane Saulnier MS.406 aircraft began to be created in 1934, the first prototype took off on August 8, 1935. It was powered by a Hispano Suiza HS 12Ygrs engine, another prototype from 1937 had an HS 12Ycrs engine. The first mass-produced units were created at the beginning of 1939. Production ran quite quickly, as of September 1, 1939, the French army had 572 units of this type of aircraft.
