This is the 1980 Hess “First Hess Truck” Toy Bank, a classic vintage Hess collectible modeled after the original 1934 Hess tanker design. This piece was produced as a commemorative toy bank and remains one of the most recognizable early Hess releases.

The truck features the iconic green, white, red, and yellow Hess color scheme, detailed gasoline tanker body, and working coin bank compartment accessed from the top of the tank. The headlights illuminate when powered (requires one D-cell battery), and the truck rolls smoothly. All major components appear intact based on visual inspection.
