  • Canon R (Canonflex/Canomatic, early 1960s): Early breech-lock system. Lens/body functions differ from later mounts, but the mount opening is part of the same breech-lock family used for these dust caps.
  • Canon FL (mid-1960s): Breech-lock mount that followed Canon R. FL and FD share a closely related physical connection.
  • Canon FD & New FD (FDn) (1970s–1980s): Canon’s main manual-focus SLR mount family. Rear caps exist in different generations; this listing is for the later cross-compatible cap style that fits FD, FDn, FL, and R.
  • Important: “Canon R mount” here means the vintage Canonflex/Canomatic R breech-lock mount — it is completely different from modern EOS R / RF.
