1867 Patent DAVIS LEVEL & TOOL 24" INCLINOMETER Cast Iron Filigree Spirit Level in excellent condition.  Excellent bubble and pointer.  one line 1867 patent date on the front face.  Dates 1875-1892, based on the "Davis Level & Tool" stamp.  Cast iron filigree is in excellent condition.  One chip on the top edge.  One of the brass set screws heads appears to be damaged...we did not try to force it and will leave it for the next owner to address.  Weighs nearly 4 pounds 10 ounces!  Excellent collectible piece in a very hard size to locate.  Please see photos for more details and to evaluate condition for yourself
