This is Lionel 6-38990 GM&O LEGACY GP-35 #603. Gulf, Mobile & Ohio LEGACY scale GP35 diesel #603. Produced in the mid-1960s, EMD’s GP35 diesel locomotive proved a popular choice for railroads looking to upgrade from their first-generation engines. The GP35 produced 2500 horsepower, making it versatile and relatively efficient.
