What is Gobi Desert Agate/Stone? How they were formed?

Gobi Desert Agates are a type of agate that is found in the Gobi Desert, which spans across northern and northwestern China and southern Mongolia.

There used to be an ocean in now Gobi desert and there was an active volcano under the sea.  There were several big volcano eruptions 100-150 millions years ago. The volcanic lava eruped and felled into the cold sea, these lava formed many kind of minerals and some dissolving into a mineral-rich suspension which changes the chemical composition of the lava, and the plate of the area under compression, resulting in the growth of so many kind of Gobi stones/agates.  And when the sea was dried, these minerals exposed in the sun, polished in the strong winds during a very long time in the desert. That's why they have highly condensed quality, a wide range of colors and a natural polished coating. And above all, no matter how they may look gorgeous or unadorned, they are all genuine with their own style.
