Carving a serious second under the name of "Akina's Fastest."
In 19XX, a private tofu shop car racing through Mount Akina—. "Initial D" began with this single vehicle driven by third-year high school student Takumi Fujiwara.
The battles on mountain passes, set on public roads with long straights followed by successive corners and the "five consecutive hairpins," captivated readers. Utilizing genius techniques like "drifting" and "gutter runs," the struggle against numerous rivals fascinated audiences, gaining immense popularity not only in Japan but worldwide.
Now in 2025, a chronograph model has been announced to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the "Initial D" serialization.
✨ Special Design Features
It features a white and black dial inspired by Takumi Fujiwara's "Hachi-Roku" (AE86), one of the most popular cars in the series, with the "Fujiwara Tofu Shop (Private Use)" logo at the 4 o'clock position.
Furthermore, it includes sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock styled after dashboard gauges, and a sub-dial at 6 o'clock featuring the "D logo," symbolizing "Drift" and "Dream."
