From a simple piece of wood, to the beginning of a masterpiece. Cut from solid pieces of wood, these custom butcher block style floating stair treads and landings come in multiple sizes and wood species to fit your design needs. These floating stair treads are available in Red Oak, White Oak, Hard Maple, or Walnut.

Butcher block is made by gluing thick strips of strong hardwoods together to form a surface that can stand up to everyday use.

Features:

• Made from 5/4 or 6/4 lumber
• Front and back staves are always solid
• Center staves can have 1 or 2 glue joints
• The top and bottom surface of the tread is edge grain as the staves are turned on edge
