When the rearview mirror turn signal is damaged, flooded, or malfunctioning, it needs to be replaced to ensure driving safety and proper functioning of the lights.

Determination of damage degree

Crack not falling off: If there are only slight cracks but no blocks falling off, they can be temporarily not replaced, and the risk of rainwater infiltration is low.  ‌

Slag or detachment: If there is obvious slag or detachment, it needs to be replaced immediately, otherwise rainwater or car washing may cause short circuits and burn out the insurance.  ‌

Abnormal functional conditions

1.Bulb damage: When the turn signal cannot flash normally or does not light up at all, the bulb or the entire light assembly needs to be replaced.  ‌

2.Sealing failure: The side cover of the turn signal is not tightly sealed, causing water ingress. The turn signal needs to be replaced to solve the water ingress problem.  ‌
