Antique Victorian Large CARVED SHELL CAMEO BROOCH with Bloodstone Agate Panel

Up for sale is a superb large Antique Victorian carved shell cameo brooch featuring a portrait of a Greek Goddess/Maiden.

High Quality, scarce piece.
Very well detailed carving.
Cameo is mounted in an ornate heavy gold filled frame.
The reverse of the cameo features a large polished Bloodstone Agate panel.

Probably a Grand Tour piece brought back from Italy.
Will date to the 19th Century.

Measures 6.2cm long and 5.2cm across.
Weighs 37.1g.
