--The M983 tractor is also used for construction machinery and material transportation in connection with the semi-trailer.
--The M870A1 is a semi-trailer that succeeds the M870 and was used to transport building materials and supplies.
--Unlike the M870, it cannot be loaded or unloaded from the rear, and the tractor is separated and the gooseneck is used as a ramp.
