Up for sale is a curated 3-coin "Starter Error" lot featuring two distinct Mint errors and a first-year Denver Eisenhower dollar. This set is perfect for a new error collector or as a unique conversation piece.
The Coins:
1776-1976 Bicentennial Eisenhower Dollar: Features a clear "Struck Through Grease" error on the obverse. The "E" in TRUST is missing/faint, a classic example of this minting phenomenon. This is the Type 2 variety with refined, thin lettering on the reverse.
1941 Jefferson Nickel: Features a popular grease-filled die error on the obverse, giving it the well-known "In COD We Trust" appearance. A great historical piece from the WWII era.
1971-D Eisenhower Dollar (Bonus): A high-eye-appeal, first-year issue from the Denver Mint. While not an error, it is a key "anchor" coin for any Ike dollar collection and shows interesting late die-state characteristics.
