AIICIOO Under Tank Heater are an ideal 24-hour primary or secondary heat source for tropical or temperate reptilian species.

[UPGRADED VERSION]

Upgraded Adhesive - All Reptile Heating Pads are upgraded, we changed the adhesive material to a new one that is more solid.The heat resistance of it is from 90 ℉ to 100 ℉.That effectively decrease and eradicate the probability of melting and separating.

How it works?

The Reptile Heat Mat is designed to slowly heat glass and then the air inside of the terrarium. The heat mat for reptiles will take a minimum of six hours before you get an accurate temperature reading in the terrarium. If your pets spends all of its time near the heater, it means that there is not enough heat in the cage.Supplemental heat should be added immediately.

  1. Clean the surface of the terrarium
  2. Peel adhesive paper off back of the heater
  3. Stick the heater to the bottom/side of the tank
  4. Press it hard until it stick to the tank firmly
  5. Stick the rubber feet to four bottom corners
  6. Last plug heater in

Note: DO NOT removes the under tank heater once it has been attached to your terrarium.

Attention

  1. The Under Tank Heater can be placed underneath the tank or on the side of the tank depending on your set up. The Reptile Heating Pad should be placed on the outside of the tank only. If you choose to place the heater on the underside of the tank, be sure to elevate the tank slightly using the included “rubber feet” or another method to prevent heat encapsulation.
  2. Do't place water dish above heater. Avoid spilling or spraying water on glass where heater is attached; water spilled directly on the glass where the heater is could cause a stress crack.
  3. Do't use the heating pad on aquatic tank, this combination can create stress cracks.
  4. Depending on the mounting, substrate, and other conditions the UTH can bring the temperature up by 2-8 degrees.

Note: If the bottom of your terrarium can get wet this could cause a “stress crack” with this type of heater. Always use a substrate that will absorb water and keep your water dish on the opposite side of the terrarium from the Heating Pad. Because of the many variables involved in terrarium glass thickness, set up and husbandry, we are not sure if heat pad will cause stress cracks in your glass containers.
