Beautiful antique Victorian table lamp featuring richly detailed musician cherub (putti) figures in high relief, surrounded by ornate scrolling foliage and floral motifs. This piece began life as a late-19th-century oil/kerosene lamp and was professionally converted to electricity in the 20th century, a common and desirable practice for quality antique lighting.

The cast metal body displays a warm aged bronze tone with wonderful depth and character. Decorative side knobs and the stepped column form reflect its original oil-lamp design. The lamp retains an early brown cord and non-polarized plug and is tested and working. The lamp works great, though buyer may choose to update electrical as it is likely 50+ years old.

The lamp is in great condition. Weighs 3 lbs 15 oz, measures 5.5” diameter at base, 14” tall to socket and 24” tall to finial. Does not ship with lightbulb.
