1: The 4-wire for DMM shorting provides a convenient way to short 2-wire and 4-wire digital multimeter (for DMM) inputs together.

2: It consists of four gold-plated banana (mounted on a  acrylic ) and a gold-plated printed circuit board (PCB) assembly. This allows easy checking of for DMM offset for instrument verification or offset elimination during basic testing. Due to the gold-plated pins and PCB structure, the resistance between the for HI and LO pins is very low (<1 mΩ). However, the absolute resistance and thermal voltage offset for 2-wire or 4-wire for CONFIGURATIONS are not specified, and metrological traceability applications are not recommended.

3: The 4 banana heads have a pin pitch of 19.05mm, which is suitable for most benchtop multimeters. The banana is pure copper with gold plating and a beautiful shell. We also keep the position of the resistor. You can also put the RX-700.25W/0.5W standard resistor in it. This way, it is a standard resistance source, which is directly into the multimeter, which is more convenient.

4: The product is divided into four-wire short circuit and four-wire standard resistor. The circuit-boards are not the same. Please read carefully when buying, whether to buy a four-wire short circuit or a four-wire standard resistor.

User Guide:

The 4-wire for DMM short circuit should be inserted into the input banana of the for DMM by carefully aligning the for DMM for HI and LO inputs with the pairs marked on them (usually for HI up and LO down). Although all four pins are shorted to each other, the heaviest trace runs between the for HI and LO pairs, and the center point trace is smaller.
