This is a beautiful deep blue pottery teapot made by Søholm Keramik of Bornholm, Denmark. It has a slight ribbed design on the exterior, and a very appealing shape. I believe this is the Circo pattern, designed by Christer & Christel Holmgren ca 1990. This pattern is often seen in white, and sometimes red, but blue seems very uncommon. This measures approximately 10 1/4" from handle to spout, 6 3/4" wide, and 6 3/8" tall to the top of the handle. It holds about 60 ounces when full. The tea pot is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the unglazed interior. This is a great design and excellent quality teapot.
