A collection a newspapers chronicling the University of Arizona men’s basketball team’s journey through the 1997 NCAA Basketball Tournament to their historic (and only to date) Championship.

The collection consists of some whole front page or Sports sections but mostly specific pages from the LA Times, the Arizona Daily Star and the San Diego Union-Tribune, as well as (campus publication) Cat Tracks and the Arizona Daily Wildcat newspapers. The papers are dated from March 10 1997 after the brackets were announced through (but not all inclusive) April 7 1997 after the Tournament Championship Game.

Newspapers have some yellowing due to age, some tears (especially the single pages separated from their original sections), and creasing. General photo of all the pages is provided. Additional photos upon request.
