This is a removal tool for 1/2” and 3/4” size sharkbite style push to connect fittings used on copper and Pex pipe. 1/2” copper pipe and Pex have a 0.625” outside diameter. 3/4” has an OD of 0.875”.

These tools are easy to use and fit in tight spaces.

In many cases the push to connect fitting release ring can be retracted using only the appropriate tool and your hand or fingers.

In more stubborn cases or when installing push to connect slip repair fittings the included bridge piece, bolt and nut can be used. Use the 1/2” paddle and 3/4” paddle for 1/2” fittings. Use the 3/4” paddle and 1.1” paddle for 3/4” fittings. Adjust the bridge piece for best fit. Use a wrench if necessary but do not over tighten the nut. Damage to the fitting could result.

ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES WHEN USING THIS TOOL. DO NOT REMOVE FITTINGS FROM PRESSURIZED PIPING. PIPING MUST BE ISOLATED AND DEPRESSURIZED.
