This beautifully preserved textile features intricate hand-worked cotton crochet with sage green panels, openwork mesh, and scalloped edges adorned with dimensional floral trim in plum, cream, and warm golden tones.
The craftsmanship is fine and consistent throughout, with excellent stitch definition and strong structure for its age. The floral edging adds depth and movement, making this piece especially striking when worn or displayed.💫
A nylon organza ribbon has been added through the waist eyelets for display and styling purposes. The ribbon can be easily removed or replaced to suit personal preference or period accuracy. The ribbon bow was held in place with tailor pins for photographs only; pins will be removed prior to shipping.
