A couple notes upfront, disregard the "listed" capacity of batteries printed on their casing: the size limitation is 1200mAh for a PSP 2000 and 3000 battery and 2200mAh for a PSP 1000 battery. The important feature to look for in PSP batteries is if they have a high quality PCB (power control board), which only a few sellers, myself included, offer.

This unit is region-free for games, and movies can be set to region from Pro VSH menu system


The X and O button configuration can be switched inside the menu.

This unit also has a plugin under Ark-4 that gives you access to an additional (third level) of brightness.
