The remote is working. It makes the train sounds and plays the Thomas theme. The engine, however, is not working. I can get the red indicator light to blink but not to stay on or respond to the remote. Cosmetically though, the engine and car look very good. No corrosion on either train or remote. Thomas train requires three AAA batteries. The remote requires three AAA batteries which are not included.
