In 1923, Germany experienced extreme hyperinflation,leading to the circulation of Paper Mark currency notes in enormousdenominations, from thousands to trillions of marks. These notes are ahistorical artifact of the Weimar Republic's economic collapse, and while theyhad little to no value at the time of their withdrawal, they are collectedtoday for their historical significance.
