Antique [1800s i.e. Victorian, Williamite, or a Georgian Era] Trapezoidal Hammered Dulcimer with 24 Notes ("Courses"), 3 Strings per Course, 2 Bridges
Sold Untuned. No Tuning Key (pliers may be best for precision tuning).
~ with a Gilded Soundboard (possibly using actual gold, due to time period & being a high grade instrument; the keyhole eschucheon is Mother of Pearl)
~ having a very Curious Oil Painting affixed to it, which may have used Egg Tempera, possibly mixed with Gold, just going by appearance
~ plus a Modern Pair of Lightweight Bamboo Hammers with Rubber Tips
~ and all within a veneered Mahogany Wood Casing
Dulcimer measurements: 90 x 42 x 14cm (possibly greater) @ 9.53kg (feels heavier than one might imagine). Add circa 25g for the pair of bamboo hammers.
Condition Note: Fair antique condition. Quite heavy at 9.5kg, which is probably why it bears a few dings and scratches to the mahogany casing, and one corner of the lid had snapped off and been re-affixed. The locking mechanism has been blanked off at some unknown time.

ISSUES:
- Probably owing to its bulk, the dulcimer bears a few dings and scratches to the mahogany casing (see closeup images), and one corner of the lid had snapped off and been re-affixed. I shall take care when packaging it for delivery.
- There is no tuning key, and it doesn't seem to take standard dulcimer tuning keys so you'll need to measure the peg width to find a suitable wider gauge tuning key. Personally, l would use pliers as they are cheaper and will give greater precision - though l haven't actually attempted turning, nor do l know the tuning system (obviously, you should not go more than a semitone higher the tuning for each note, or else you'll need to restring).
- There is no locking mechanism, it had been blanked off at some point in time.
