To use please remember to put on your safety glasses and place your tool on a sturdy durable surface. The tool is packaged in some oil for its protection. Wipe off the excess oil before starting. The tool should be on a rubber bench block or pad for support. Use a lubricant on the cutting edges of the punch to reduce friction and ensure a cleaner cut. Remember the flat side goes down and the bevel side is up. Place the soft sheet metal up to 14 gauge and thinner (such as aluminum, brass, silver and gold) into the slot and put the punch into the hole.
