This white porcelain commemorative medal still the original box of issue was probably made in Germany 

but could have been from Switzwerland as the Red Cross is based there. The box has symbols for the 

Red Cross andRed Crescent . There is a light line across his facer vertically and since I don't know what 

it is, I do not want attempt removing it.
