Side Mirror Replacement Installation Tips

  1. Find the Correct Replacement Mirror

Ensure you have the right replacement mirror for your specific vehicle make and model. You can find the detailed fitment information in the product description.

  2. Remove the Door Panel and Disconnect the Wiring

If your side mirror has electrical functions such as power adjustment and heating, disconnect the power source. This may involve removing the interior door panel to access the wiring harness.

  3. Remove the Old Mirror

If the mirror is attached with screws, locate and remove them using the appropriate tool (usually a screwdriver or socket set).

  4. Install the New Mirror

Connect the wiring harness. Align the new mirror in the correct position and secure it in place using screws or clips. Ensure all screws/bolts are tightened securely. Be cautious not to over-tighten.

  5. Test Functions and Reassemble

Confirm the mirror functions work and, if applicable, reassemble any covers or trim panels.

  • What is the difference between long arm and short arm side mirrors?

Long-arm mirrors offer a wide view of what's behind and beside the vehicle, while short-arm mirrors provide a closer view. Long-arm mirrors can also help drivers see around corners or obstacles better than short or medium-arm mirrors.

  • How can I make sure the fitment?

You may check the compatible OE numbers that are provided in the item page along with the item features. If the OE numbers are matching, and the item features the same with the original part, then the part will fit and function.

  • Why is the turn signal indicator is flashing fast?

Our products come with 12V 5W bulbs installed. OE side mirrors might have higher wattage bulbs, 18W, causing the blinkers flash fast. Replacing the bulb installed to the aftermarket side mirror with the OE mirror bulb will resolve the issue.
