I believe this is an early 1900s E. I. Horseman Standard wood tennis racket, original gut strings and has lived it's life in a press so NO WARPING!!
Horsman was located at 342 Broadway in New York City. Horsman is
recognized as the first American maker of lawn tennis equipment.
Very nice for age see pics. Could be played today re-strung.
This is a very nice antique Horseman Standard Tennis Racket made in New
York by the oldest racket maker in the US. This model has the iconic
convex throat, leather wraped handle end, newer style rounded head and
gut string. Overall length is 26.5 inches with 9.5 inch wide body.
Racket is still nicely strung, straight and in remarkable condition for
being 100 years old.
