Thank you for looking at the product.Jellyfish wind chimes are individually handcrafted without the use of molds.
The legs, in particular, are made by wrapping soft glass around them, cutting them, and then pulling them with a semi-twist. The thickness and degree of twist determine the sound.
Jellyfish wind chimes have multiple legs, so the sound varies depending on where the tube touches them. The interplay, like a multi-layered instrument, is truly beautiful.
Rather than the sound of a typical wind chime, we aimed for a deep, Japanese tone reminiscent of a suikinkutsu (water harp).
The jellyfish shape is also very cool and summery. The bubbles and colors are beautiful when they catch the light.
