3M 701 Test Kit Technical Description

The 3M 701 Test Kit is a handheld analog surface resistance megohmmeter designed to evaluate the resistive properties of static control work surfaces and flooring. It features separate, color‐coded scales and test settings for measuring surface‐to‐ground (R_tg) and surface‐to‐surface (R_tt) resistance at 10 V and 100 V, plus a continuity mode. The intuitive, analog display and rugged case make it ideal for field verification and compliance testing in ESD‐sensitive environments.
