This is a very nice copy of the Harper's Weekly from April 12 of 1873.  The copy we have here is 14 pages long (clearly missing a few), with the front cover being detached.  The issue has quite a bit of material on the Temperance Movement, including the classic drawing by Thomas Nast, The Bar of Destruction.   As noted, the issue has some wear and some tears here and there, but overall the images looks great.
