Good quality 23.5cm by 20cm Place Mat featuring legendary Triple Crown winner Nijinsky.

I have not seen one of these before and it may have been privately commissioned in limited numbers rather than produced as part of a set.

Nijinsky won the Triple Crown of 2000 Guineas, Epsom Derby and St Ledger in 1970 and both Trainer Vincent O'Brien and Jockey Lester Piggott thought the horse was probably the greatest they had been associated with.

Odd minor surface mark and a couple of minor surface scratches which only notice if you catch the light at the right angle. I think these are more from normal light handling etc rather than from use and otherwise very good condition as per the scans.
