A radical reinvention of King Crimson’s sound, Larks' Tongues In Aspic introduced the band’s third incarnation with Robert Fripp joined by John Wetton, Bill Bruford, David Cross, and Jamie Muir. Drawing on Eastern European classical music, free improvisation, and raw experimentalism, the album blends violin, Mellotron, and junkyard percussion into a dense, cerebral sonic landscape. This 2013 reissue features the original stereo mix, newly cut from masters approved by Fripp, pressed on 200g heavyweight vinyl.
