This is a small decorative hand carved and painted gourd. It was made be American Artist Gretchen Ceteras from California who grew her own gourds to create her artwork. This piece comes with the newspaper clipping of the artist and the event that the gourd was purchased at that was stored inside it. The piece was purchased on February 25th, 1996.
