Spinosaurus (means 'spine lizard') tooth comes from Morocco. It dates from the Cretaceous period, about 112 to 97 million years ago. It was the largest of all known dinosaurs, even bigger than T. rex! It may have lived both on the land and in water. It had huge spines on its back, extensions of the vertebrae, which grew up to 5 feet long.

This is a massive tooth, 5.77 inches long The enamel part is 3.0 inches and 1.1 inches wide at the base of the crown. The tooth has most of the original enamel and a long root. Often times, the roots of these large Spino teeth are actually carved goat bone, made to look old by adding various colors and mud. This is not the case in this tooth (or any I sell). The root is authentic Spinosaurus root bone which may or may not be from the same animal. The tooth has been repaired.

All of my fossils are guaranteed authentic and have been legally obtained.
