Pablo Zabal “Blue Zoo Collection”, Large Elephant sculpture, 1970’s Chile.

Dark powder blue colored Elephant.

Folk floral decoration covers his/her upper body with white matte glaze showing between the slightly raised blue pattern. There are no chips and no damage apart from some age-related staining on the white glaze and generalized crazing to the white glaze.

Made by Pablo Zabal in Chile somewhere between the 1960s and the 1980s.

Marked on the base "Pablo Zabal"
