This is an original press photo. Studio City California-An unemployed mechanic, accused of abducting the wife of the actor Leon Ames, today told police that he had to rob to support his family and that he thought up the abduction plot when he heard of the Frank Sinatra Jr. kidnapping. He said he staged about 50 robberies, so many he didn't keep track, said Sergt. Douglas Bentley of the North Hollywood Police Officers said Lynn Wayne Benner, 21 held up finance firms to provide his family with a $500 a month income.Photo measures 8 x 8.5inches.
