Up for your consideration is an Outstanding Antique Meriden B Company Ornate Figural Heron Cake Stand 8.25" T.

This was a fabulous estate find.  I believe it would have been used as a cake or pastry stand.  It is very highly detailed all over.  It is stamped Meriden B Company 1808 on the base.  All of the detailing and the ornate heron caught my eye right away.  It measures 8.25"T x 9.75"W.
