The Epiphone Prophecy SG combines classic SG design with high-performance features to meet the needs of both advanced guitarists and modern players.
The body features a ¾-inch thick maple top and a thinner Aged Vintage Gloss finish.
The slim-taper, asymmetrical neck features an ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets.
The fingerboard also features block and triangle pearloid/avalon inlays, the abalone selected to match the body color.
Further features include matte nickel Grover Locking Rotomatic tuners and a black GraphTech NuBone nut.
The Epiphone Prophecy SG also features matte nickel hardware and PosiLok strap buttons.
It also features Fishman Fluence pickups and push-pull master volume and tone controls with three voicing options.
With both the volume and tone controls pushed in, you get a high-gain, modern active, high-output humbucker sound. Pulling up the tone control gives you a classic Patent Applied For-style humbucker sound, and pulling up the volume control gives you a sparkling single-coil sound.
As this is a used item, there are some minor scratches and stains, but overall it is in good condition with little signs of use.
The protective film is still intact. The frets are still set high enough for playing without any noticeable buzzing or choking.
There is still room in the truss rod, so this guitar is in excellent condition and will be loved for many years to come.
