Released in March 1986, the Olympus AF-1 QD (also known as "Infinity" in the U.S. and nicknamed "Nurepika" in Japan) was the world's first weatherproof fully automatic 35mm compact camera. Its standout features include a sharp Zuiko 35mm f/2.8 lens, reliable autofocus system, and a built-in flash. The camera's durable, splash-resistant design (JIS Class 4) made it ideal for outdoor photography. The Quartz Date model adds a date imprint function, enhancing its utility for documenting memories. With automatic film loading, advancing, and rewinding, along with a 12-second self-timer, the AF-1 QD offers ease of use for both beginners and experienced photographers
