Antique Theodore HAVILAND, LIMOGES France 3-Piece Dome Butter Dish SCHLEIGER 224

LOVELY ANTIQUE PORCELAIN DOME BUTTER DISH

Lovely antique porcelain three-part butter dish measuring about 8-1/4" wide across the bowl, and 4-1/2" tall. Featuring an embossed plate edge, molded handles are accented in gold - inner drain insert is pierced with a ring foot, and dome lid is also edge embossed with a dainty molded finial finished in gold accenting. Marked HAVILAND FRANCE ~ HAVILAND & CO., LIMOGES, pattern name if SCHLEIGER 224 - it is a lovely combination of pink and blue trailing florals on a white ground.

Condition is excellent with no cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage other than the most minute nick on the back edge of the plate - it does not show from the front and I could not capture in my photos. Just the prettiest dome shape and design - lovely floral pastel decoration - wonderful addition to any home, table, collection or display!
