This Vintage German pewter hip flask by Frieling Zinnhas a lovely decorative scene on the front which depicts the text written on the back. The text comes from a German drinking song dating from the late 19th century and roughly translates as 'Not a drop left in the beaker and the purse is slack and empty. Languishing heart and tongue - smitten am I with your wine and your lovely eyes' bright shine, Linden landlady, so young!'

The flask is in overall EXCELLENT condition. The original cork is still intact nd the cap screws on and off easily. On the bottom of the flask is the makers mark.
