These are Oriental Japanese girls play dolls that have somehow made it all the way here, and are obviously vintage.  The kimonos are glued onto flexible armatures of rubber and they are flexible though they don't hold a pose so the dolls must be leaned on something to stand without help.  The heads are empty like barbie doll heads if you were to squeeze them.  The hair and features are painted onto to the white rubber face.
