For your consideration: An 1837 Hard Times Token, Feuchtwanger Cent, circulated with pretty strong details. The coin was modifies to remove "ONE" from the reverse. It was probably passed a dime at a time when foreign coinage was legal tender in the U.S. Early small cent prototype, nickel, copper and zinc alloy. Please view the photos to
